As one of Australia's most prolific female actors, joining the cast of Neighbours as a fresh-faced 26-year-old, it is easy to see how Carla Bonner has leveraged her talent and charisma to become a household name during her acting career. It’s this journey and exposure to an often ruthless industry which has driven Carla to forge her own path, and to identify how she can build a platform from her own experiences with lack of self-worth, body image insecurities and abandonment.

Most of the British Commonwealth would know Carla Bonner as ‘Stephanie Scully’ the rebellious biker chick made famous in the serial drama Neighbours. However, while acting has fed her soul for the last 20 years, the exposure to an industry which can be competitive and cutthroat, has opened her eyes to the damage being so focused on the ‘superficial’ & what it can do to impressionable young women - which has activated a yearning to connect with these women - and to advocate on their behalf through educating them on how to tap into their talent, strengths and skills as their preferred path to greatness.

Carla has found the segue from actress to soul nourisher for women a natural one, founding her self-titled business, Carla Bonner, in 2019. Carla is now focused on utilising her significant influence and reach to educate women and teenagers on self-worth and empowerment through keynote presentations, workshops and retreats, which have been received with resounding success across multiple schools in Victoria including Catholic Ladies College in Eltham.

As an actress, entrepreneur and advocate, Carla is fierce in her conviction to empower women with self-worth and the knowledge that, the most influential script we will ever hear, is the one we tell ourselves about ourselves. As such, she has been invited to share her compelling and passionate story through numerous events including International Women’s Day, Outcome.life, the League of Extraordinary Women and social tech startup Ambisie - leveraging her talent as a master performer to engage with the head and hearts of her audience - a feat truly achieved by only the most prolific of change-makers.

Miroslav Petrovic is a speaker trainer supporting coaches, entrepreneurs and professional to lift their stage presence, conquer their fears and be more engaging. Over the last 12 years he has presented across Australia and internationally, appeared across mainstream media, delivered a TEDx Talk and worked with over 5,000 people supporting them to dissolve their fears and live with purpose. He has also delivered trainings on workplace culture and emotional intelligence to companies such as Lululemon Athletica.

As a sage, a child and a life enthusiast he is fascinated by how we can be more fully alive with everything we do. He believes that being in connection with our own personal presence could be the most important, dynamic relationship we have in life. This is the Power of Presence.

The most direct way of cultivating presence for him lies in the art of public speaking which instantly surfaces our fears and insecurities. Traditionally public speaking suppresses authenticity by teaching techniques and becoming calculated. Miroslav’s unique approach encourages raw authenticity that pierces to the heart of human connection, stirring passion, engagement and instant connection – one to many and many to one.

He is inspired by embodied speaking, teaching, and training to face the fears that most often hold us back from our greatest lives. He teaches that when we conquer the fear and limiting beliefs that hold us back, we can use them as tools to reach our fullest potential. And, the ‘stage’ is the most perfect doorway for this transformation.
